Trying New Things ~ A Note from Katy

By Katy Agro Myers

Happy Friday, Arundel Kids followers!

Nicole and I got together last week to talk about Arundel Kids - where it's going to go this year, what are our goals, how do we want to stand out and be different. (Don't judge us, we know it's March - literally, this is the first time we've been able to get together in months!) What do we want to bring to the families of Anne Arundel County - and we came up with some really awesome ideas that will be rolling out in the next few months. We're excited to continue growing Arundel Kids as a resource for you - but we're also excited about stepping out of our comfort zone a little bit!

We're going back to basics - showing you some of the things we're out and about doing locally. And some travel too! We're also excited to try new things. Welllllllllllllll maybe excited isn't the right word. Nervous? Yep, that's closer to the truth.

Elenor Roosevelt once said, "Do one thing every day that scares you."

Today I did two things that scared me. I drove over the bay bridge twice with almost zero visibility due to fog. I legit felt like I was driving off a cliff. White knuckles on the steering wheel, meditation breathing, apologizing to the truck behind me for going so slow. But I did it.

AND, I posted a TikTok...is that what it's even called? That's right, Arundel Kids has launched our very own TikTok! Guys, they might not be pretty to start, but we're learning and growing (and if anyone wants to give us tips or help us out, we're ALL ears!) But in the meantime, show us some love and click the image below to follow us on TikTok!

Look out for more TikTok's this weekend, I'm convinced the more practice I get, the better I'll be. If that's not the case, please don't tell me the truth! 🤦‍♀️

xoxo,

Katy
