Summer is Coming ~ A Note from Katy

Last weekend, I feel like we got a taste of summer. The fun that is around the corner. Impromptu pizza parties at the pool with neighbors. Moms throwing down in "Just Dance" while their kids look on and giggle. Relaxing around the pool with friends, watching the Dads play volleyball. Gathering with family and just playing in the pool.

I don't know about you, but I AM READY FOR IT!

I'm ready for a break from crazy sports schedules. I'm ready for extra snuggles, sleeping in, and having adventures. I'm ready for cocktails in the pool and lazy Sundays where we just hang as a family all day.

We still have about 20 more days until school is out. It's making me feel panicky about the things I still need to do before school gets out. But mentally, I'm so excited about counting down the days. Summer might be shorter this year, but I'm going to pack in making as many memories as possible.
