Summer Fairs in Maryland

My first experience with a county fair was when I was in high school and competed for the Anne Arundel County Fair Queen title. I was crowned an Anne Arundel County Fair Princess two years in a row. I had so much fun representing the Fair during the weekend events - pig racing, pie-eating contests, meeting Crystal Gayle, and more.

As a mom, the fair was even sweeter. Seeing my kids in awe at all the animals, checking out all of the handmade submissions, squealing on the rides, and even better? The FOOD! We've rounded up a list of County Fairs in Maryland this summer so you can make it a day trip or a weekend and head out and enjoy an adventure. You can have Fair Fun from July to October!
