Sponsor Backpacks for Upcoming School Year

Walk the Walk Foundation is now recruiting volunteers, sponsors for their 14th annual Back to School drive. They are asking for volunteers to “sponsor” the children for the upcoming school year. This process is modeled after their successful annual Christmas drive,

“Christmas for Children.” Walk the Walk works with the county to receive names of students in need.

Walk the Walk is excited to work with Bay Area Community Church, Mid Atlantic

Community Church, Annapolis Athletic Club; Edgewater Fitness, Tyler Heights

Elementary School, Moms of Annapolis and individual donors like you!

Walk the Walk gives families the opportunity to sponsor a child’s backpack for

$30 per student. They can do this by buying supplies in bulk. Volunteers are

needed to fill the backpacks. The backpacks will be distributed throughout the

county to the local schools.
