OMG! I had a huge "aha" moment yesterday! Are you ready to hear it? No, no, I mean are you really ready to hear it? Stop what you're doing and pay attention. Ready now?


YOU ARE DOING YOUR BEST!




I know, I know. You're thinking, "duh, Katy, of course I am." But do you really know that? For weeks, I've been spiraling. Not only am I buried by a never-ending todo list and feeling behind in everything, but I've been overthinking everything I do. Everything I'm going to do. Everything I've done. But yesterday, I thought "hey, you're doing great!" I'm getting things done, and checking things off the list. Everyone is alive at the end of the day. Everyone is fed. I kissed everyone good night and we had a pretty quiet evening.


Did I accomplish ALLL the things on my todo list? Nope. Did I stay patient with my kids all day? Nope. Did I follow my new routine perfectly yesterday? Nope. But, I did my best! And you know what? That is great too. So from now on, I'm going to focus on what I did. I'm going to find some self-compassion. I'm going to be KIND to MYSELF! Hey, you should be too. After all:
