Maryland Arcade Back and Better Than Ever

If you've been following along this summer, you know that we've been working hard to check off all the summer fun on our Summer Bucket List! This week we checked off another fun adventure.
Chuck E. Cheese was at the top of our list and since we hadn't been since before COVID, we couldn't wait to get back. It was a super hot day on Monday, so it was perfect to head indoors to play in the cool air conditioning. We went right at lunchtime and really, we had the place almost to ourselves! Everything was sparkling clean and hand sanitizer stations were plentiful!
Chuck E. Cheese in Glen Burnie was renovated in the last few years and my boys and my niece were delighted to see all of the new games. I was wondering if, at ages eight and twelve, my kids were starting to outgrow Chuck E. Cheese, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the new games were definitely attractive to older kids! My kids still took advantage of all the little things - including squeezing into the ride-on attractions for toddlers.
We chose to play for an hour and the boys were super excited to try out the new Play Bands. I was concerned about wasting time while they were eating - but guess what? You can pause the time on the band once while you're eating so we could relax and enjoy the pizza!
Speaking of pizza, we grabbed a stuffed crust cheese pizza and some drinks and the kids all scarfed it down!
The kids loved playing the games - but you know the best part, right? Cashing in all the tickets they won for the fun prizes! It was a great day and they really had the best time!
