Anne Arundel County Farmers Markets
By Katy Agro Myers
One of my favorite weekend activities in spring and summer is to visit local farmer's markets and try new things. Supporting local agriculture is a great thing to do with your family. You can teach your children about local farms and produce/goods that are sourced locally.
Some of my favorite pickles come from the Severna Park Farmer's Market-when I was pregnant with the twins, I'd go every Saturday and stand in line with my belly just waiting for my turn. The twins LOVE pickles now-go figure. I remember one weekend some ladies who asked if the pickles were worth the wait in line. They sure are!
