Supporting small local businesses is what we love to do. We've rounded up five of our (many!) favorites for our new monthly feature: Anne Arundel County Businesses to Check Out.
When we support small businesses in our county, we invest in our community and our community's future.

We are your independent bookstore! We are bringing the local bookshop back to the community. If you are unable to make it into the store or prefer to shop online, shop bookshop and our bookstore will receive a commission.
Our goal is to make sustainability simple by offering low-waste alternatives for all your household needs. We want to eliminate the dependence on plastic packaging by giving people the choice on how they source everyday essentials. We will provide bulk refills and minimally packaged products with an emphasis on reduced touch, thoughtful sourcing, and consumer education.

We believe that art is a creative outlet, as well as an educational tool. Through art, children develop problem-solving skills, refine motor skills, build self-esteem, and learn persistence. With our engaging lessons, we help your child connect to the world around them. Art is not a new way—it is the best way to learn and explore new concepts.
