The end of the school year is just around the corner, and soon kids everywhere will be celebrating the arrival of Summer Break! 🌞 It's that time again when Summer Camps in Anne Arundel County are gearing up for enrollment. Lucky for us, there's no shortage of options right in our own backyard! Whether it's indoor or outdoor adventures, half-day or full-day fun, or diving into arts and sports, there's something for everyone. Get ready to explore the endless possibilities! 🎨⚽️🏕️

Ages 4-10

Level Dance Project ("Level") is located in Annapolis, Maryland, just two miles away from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and easily accessible from Route 50 on Whitehall Road. Level has been under the ownership of mother-daughter duo, Barbara Martin (Business Manager) and Emily Martin Hawkey (Artistic Director) since its inception in 2012. We offer competitive and recreational classes for ages 3-18 in dance styles such as ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, tap, pointe, hip hop and acrobatics. Join the Around the World Summer Dance Camp  July 15-19, 2024, 9am-4pm.



 



Ages 3 - 11

What keeps kids coming back year after year? Our Summer Music Camps are jam-packed with music, more music, and fun! Students, ages 3-11 of all levels and abilities (no experience necessary), will have the opportunity to learn to sing in our pop glee clubs, drum their hearts out in world drumming class, play various instruments, and participate in fun musical activities! In addition, our older kids (6-11) will learn an instrument: piano or ukulele. Our younger students (ages 3-5) will be immersed in a world of music exploration, from instrument playing to rhythm and melody, and of course, fun! We have highly qualified instructors on staff to ensure a well-rounded educational experience and an exciting week. In addition to group instruction in voice and instruments, students will make friends, play games, and have an all-around musical good time! Camps will be held indoors at the Naptown Sings and Plays! studio. Campers will be grouped into groups based on age and instrument selection. Considering multiple weeks? Each week we will have new music, new genres, and new themes for a full immersive experience!

During the summer, your child's math skills are in danger of slipping. Summer math tutoring at Mathnasium is the answer. Now available with an extended Camp Mathnasium option at participating centers. "On Average Kids Lose 2.7 Months of Math Knowledge Over Summer" -Harvard Graduate School of Education Mathnasium’s summer math program gives kids what they need to catch up, keep up, or get a jump on the math they’ll be facing in the fall, with some fun summer math tutoring activities built-in.

Summer at the Creek offers six weeks of summer fun for students from Pre-K through high school! Exciting one and two week camp options ranging from traditional day camps, sports camps, academic camps, performing arts camps and more will keep your campers learning and having fun! Located on the School's 114-acre wooded campus, just minutes from Annapolis, Indian Creek campers utilize the School's classrooms, labs, stage and performance spaces, wooded campus trails, and the turf fields, weight room, gymnasium and Eagle Dome. Ages 4-Adult L’Ecole de Danse offers opportunities in dance, visual arts, and creative writing during our Summer Arts Enrichment Program. Children ages 4 – 8 participate in a Fairy Tale Themed Week that includes a Creative Movement class, a Visual Arts Project, and a rehearsal for their presentation. Children ages 9 – 12 have a Creative Arts Intensive that offers a Ballet class, Visual Arts including scenery making, and Creative Writing, culminating in a demonstration. For the serious ballet student, we offer a Ballet Intensive which includes a performance of the variations learned during their two weeks of study. Ages 8 - 13 Whoof Kids Camp is a day camp at Pier 7 Marina in Edgewater, where kids will enjoy a combination of kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, arts and crafts, and learning basic dog training techniques.

Ages 7 and older

Whether they are week-long camps throughout the summer or day camps when school is out, Artsy Partsy's day is full of different mediums of art projects. We paint, mold, draw, color, and more! 2023 Summer Camps have a lot in store in addition to art we will enjoy time at the gym for open play, bowling, picnics and snowballs!


Most camps are for kids ages 7 and up. Children must be 7 at the start of their camp week. The reason why most of our camps begin at age 7 is to allow for kids who really love art and may have an advanced skillset to thrive in our camps. Our seating is limited so this helps to keep space for our 7 and up artists.
